‘’It is always a great feeling to be awarded, even if it is the 61st time… All the girls riding pipe, like Hannah and Arielle and I today, will continue to push the sport. It’s great to be the Halfpipe champion, I didn’t win all the contests this year but I won the right ones and it was enough to get me the title.” – Kelly
Sarka Pancochova took the World Snowboard Tour Overall and Slopestyle titles home. Sarka is one of only a few female competitors that ride both Slopestyle and Pipe.
’’I have been working really hard this season, training and competing, it’s the best reward to be the World’s top woman overall snowboarder, then all the hard work pays off!’’ -Pancochova
Mark McMorris did more that win the World Snowboard Tour Slopestyle title. He dominated all season long, winning both X Games and the Burton US Open. Mark McMorris is the unquestioned King of slopestyle right now.
”I didn’t know that I won the Tour Championship until I was told in the interview straight after the final, but it’s a real honor to get this award, it means you’re consistent over the season and that gives confidence. I am happy!” -McMorris
Congratulations to all the riders on a fantastic season.
